The goal was to improve the user experience of the navigation, including the top nav and the footer of viadeo.com. Before this work, a lot of items weren’t clear enough to allow users navigating easily.
So, I’ve tried to focus on clarity, better hierarchy, contrast, colour and spacing to help with visual skimming .
I also organised a workshop to improve the navigation. With a team composed of developers, designers, product owners and marketing managers, we reconsidered each categories : their name, their content and how to get to it.
Based on users feedback and datas, we chose what should be moved, split or added to make a simplier and better experience.
